This Privacy Policy explains how MyEnergy Solutions (Pvt) Ltd (company no. PV 00362432), of Colombo, Sri Lanka ("MyEnergy", "we", "us"), collects, uses and protects the information you provide when you use our website and request a quotation or site assessment.

Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry, request a proposal, or use our savings configurator, we may collect:

Your name, phone number, email address and location/city;
Information about your property and energy use that you choose to share, for example your approximate monthly electricity bill, units consumed, supply type (single or three phase) and tariff category;
Any additional details you include in the comments field of an enquiry.

We do not collect or store payment card or bank account details ourselves. Individual products can be purchased through this website using Shopify's secure checkout, where payments are processed by Shopify and its payment providers; we never see or store your card details. Full systems and installations remain quotation-based.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

Prepare a system proposal and indicative savings estimate for you;
Contact you to arrange a free site assessment and to answer your questions;
Improve our products, pricing and service.

We only use your information for the purposes for which you provided it. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing your information

We may share limited information with trusted parties who help us deliver our service, for example our installation teams, or our equipment supplier (EAST Group) where warranty registration requires it. We require these parties to protect your information and use it only for the agreed purpose. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Data retention

We keep enquiry and proposal information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legitimate business and legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time. To make a request, email sales@myenergy.lk.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to run this website, remember your choices, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising tools, currently Google Analytics, and where enabled Google Ads and the Meta Pixel, to measure how our marketing performs and to show relevant ads.
